Dos baildores or Flowaka:
Level UP Program
How the [Sun] Level UP Testing Works:
- Test Days: Tests are conducted on Sundays based on your request.
- Signing Up: Inform an instructor that you’d like to test, and they’ll add your name to the list and notify you when it’s your turn.
- Choose Your Level: Specify the level you wish to test for.
- Role Declaration: Decide whether you’ll be testing as a lead or follow.
- Technique Demonstration: The instructor will ask you to individually demonstrate the techniques/patterns for the selected level.
- Partner Dance:
- For follows: The instructor will lead you, sticking strictly to patterns in the tested level or below.
- For leads: The instructor will dance with you as a follow and ask you to perform specific patterns in the tested level or below.
- Feedback and Advancement: After demonstrating the techniques/patterns and dancing with the instructor, they will inform you if you’re cleared to move to the next level. They will provide clear feedback on your strengths and areas for improvement.
- Retesting Policy: If you do not level up, you have one additional opportunity to test in the given month, provided you are not testing for the first time on the last Sunday of the month. The instructor may clear you to move up but recommend continuing classes at the previous level alongside the new level.
